Precision agriculture is more than grid soil sampling, yield maps, and variable-rate fertilizer application, continues to evolve through innovation in the application of existing technology and the development of new technology. The acres on which some form of precision agriculture is practiced continue to expand.  In this webinar series, the CCA will learn principles for conducting and evaluating on-farm field trials, and hear from several agronomists and researchers on how field trials are being used to ground-truth precision ag technology, as research plots are scaled up for on-farm trials. Discussions will include using maps and remote sensing to identify field management zones.
